CygWin

  • Installing minicom on cygwin:
  1. Add folder: /var/lock
  2. Move file minirc.dfl to /usr/local/etc
  3. Fix serial port /dev/ttyS1 -> /dev/com1 ???

  • To get information on the server/computer:

  • xhost +[server name, i.e. vlsi] (give permission to remote server to use local display)

  • service xinetd restart (Restart xinetd server)
