7 March 07: Talked to Jim Blue about rental/purchase of an Agilent USB DAQ card. He says that they are not availble for rental (new product). Could not clarify issue about the probe cable which does not apparently come with the instrument, and is not a BNC type connector. He gave me this number for Agilent: 1-800-829-4444

Called Mike Longo on 1 Feb 1315, He says they have the Keithly 2000 and an equivalent Agilent 30041A. There is a 1.5 week wait on the Keithly Both are about $46.88/month To purchase: Keithly (new) $1,099 Agilent (new) $1,137 Agilent (used)$ 825

I have also attached the spec sheets of each product. All units rented from Global Test Equipment are eligible for a rent-to-own program. Basically, a portion of any rental payments are applied towards purchase depending on when an order is received. The equity towards purchase is built according to the following schedule: PO received during 1st month: 100% of all paid invoice applied towards purchase. PO received during 2nd month: 75% of all paid invoices applied towards purchase. PO received during 3rd month: 50% of all paid invoices applied towards purchase. PO received during 4th month or later: 25% of all paid invoices applied towards purchase. (Up to 80% of originally quoted pruchase price).
